When JPM Rockford acquired the property approximately one year before the June 2025 announcement, it came loaded with 28 cars outside and another 28 inside, many of them classic vehicles in various states of deterioration. Interior contents included an estimated five semi-trailers' worth of vintage parts — steering wheels, trim, seating — salvaged and sold to collectors before the renovation began.

The project is one of four new businesses announced by the Village of Machesney Park in early 2025, and represents JPM Rockford's continued commitment to repositioning underutilized commercial real estate in the Greater Rockford Region into thriving local enterprises.
